Other Ppl's Problem forces the user to give up their agency over what face they'll wear, but maintain the ability to change it whenever they like. It cycles through hand-sketched faces when the users eyes are closed.

Can't Sleep Breathe is the product of the realization that I could take the short animations I was building in RoughAnimator to help me get to sleep at night and wear them on my face. I expect this will be the first of a series.

Pixel Contingency is built to remind the user they are only a small, anonymous piece of their environment. It was inspired by the song "The Next Forever" by Michael Friedman for the musical The Great Immensity.

My first AR filter, BANG was an experiment in presumed interaction. The flag animation is triggered by the eyes closing, and the XX animation is triggered by the mouth opening. The assumption was that even with their eyes on the camera, a user pretending to fire a finger gun at their own head would squint, and when they see the flag, they'll open their mouth in surprise.

Easily one of the dumbest things I could possibly make.
